SKYLAR HERTER
Skylar Herter, known as Skylar, is a bilingual singer-songwriter based in Hungary, blending pop, pop-rock, and musical-pop with a touch of Disney magic. Guided by her motto, “There is always light at the end of the tunnel,” she crafts music that radiates positivity and hope.
Raised in Pázmánd near Velence Lake, Skylar grew up between rural tranquility and Budapest’s energy. Coming from a performing arts family, she was on stage before she could walk, began singing at five, and started songwriting at fifteen. Influenced by classical music, afro beats, and pop icons like Madonna and Britney Spears, she draws inspiration from everyday life, weaving emotions into her songs.
Her latest EP, Time Heals, has received acclaim, with London emerging as a fan favorite. Skylar actively connects with fans through weekly TikTok live sessions and performances at notable venues, including a televised set on the A38 boat and representing Hungary at the Imagine Music International Finals 2024 in Brussels. A finalist at Öröm a Zene 2022, she has earned special recognition in multiple competitions.
For Skylar, music is therapy, self-expression, and joy. Through her artistry, she fosters a community of positivity, friendship, and dreams—proving that anything is possible.
